Background relevant to Intelligent Building
This class is my first time being exposed to Intelligent Building. I have heard of the term "Intelligent Building" from an employer but I have not experienced or studied it. I recently started getting into the building industry mostly on HVAC side so I recognize there are much that I have yet to learn.
Expectations for the class
Because the class covers various fields that interest me such as database and robotics, I am looking forward to learning the course materials. Since I am very new to the topics, I would have to put effort into learning and studying.
Initial definition of "Intelligent Building"
An Intelligent Building is a structure that is capable of utilizing modern technologies to achieve optimum safety and efficiency without much human operation.
