What areas of construction are most susceptible to change?
The essence of technological advancement is based around the concept of efficiency and optimized performance. Some areas of construction that are susceptible to change due to technological advancement include the design, building, maintenance, and recycling of the many systems of buildings. With the advancement of 3-D printing, robotics, and artificial intelligence, the dangers of working at high heights and with heavy equipment to physically construct a building can be eliminated and repetition of tasks in manufacturing construction materials can possibly reduce tolerances (such as size of members).
