Post 1: About Me, Ilana Ritvalsky

I'm currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering and a graduate degree in Civil Engineering. Both of my degrees concentrate on structural design. Unfortunately, outside of previous classes taken with Professor Mitchell, I don't have much experience with the concept of Intelligent Building. However, I'm looking forward to learning a lot more about the topic and to come out of this class with a better understanding of Revit and BIM as a whole. If asked to define "intelligent building", I'd answer the following: a method of building design that utilizes technology throughout all phases of a building's life cycle".
