My name is Ami Amegan. I am very passionate about design. I am pursuing a degree in
Architectural Engineering with the Mechanical concentration and a minor in Architecture. My
dream is to one day design a structure which would be one of a kind. I don't know much about
Intelligent Building but with the advance of technology all I can think of is how
computerized everything is and one day we will become slaves of our own inventions.
For instance, thermostats, security alarms and even lighting are controlled from
distance nowadays with the touch of a button on smartphones. I expect this class to
enlighten me on the transition from the way buildings were designed in the past to
nowadays; as well as giving me a larger knowledge on BIM software.
